Steal a Brainrot codes: what they give you and how to redeem them

There are codes for Steal a Brainrot, but the situation is thin at the moment. In September 2026 really only one is confirmed: BESTBRAINROTEVER. It does not give you a character, it makes the secret brainrot “La Vacca Saturno Saturnita” appear in the game. You still have to buy it yourself afterwards, for 80 million in-game dollars. No new codes have been added since the summer, and nobody knows for sure whether this one still works. Trying still does no harm, because codes cost nothing.

What is known right now

BESTBRAINROTEVER is the code with the most independent evidence behind it in September 2026. PCGamesN lists it as the only active code in its version of 21 September 2026, allthings.how in its check of 7 September 2026, Dexerto in its update of 1 September 2026. It comes from Summer Update Part 1 of 13 June 2026.

saturn had the same reward and has expired. We still had it here as a weak candidate, and that no longer holds: Dexerto moved it to the expired codes with its update of 14 August 2026, GamesRadar has listed it there since its check on 12 August 2026, and the Eldorado blog does the same (as of 4 August). No current source still calls it active.

And now the other half of the truth: there have been no new codes for months. On 1 September 2026 Dexerto writes explicitly that no new codes were found, and in the same version that lists BESTBRAINROTEVER as active, PCGamesN considers it possible that no new code will ever arrive. So BESTBRAINROTEVER is not a sure thing either. It is worth one try, nothing more. We collect other games and their codes under Roblox codes.

How to enter a code

Since the Summer Update in June 2026, codes have their own button. Start the game, go into your base and tap the Codes button in the side menu. Type the code into the input field exactly as written and confirm with “Submit” or Enter. Older guides on the internet still show the old way, where the field sat right at the bottom of the shop menu.

Two things help. The sources disagree on whether upper and lower case matter (Beebom and allthings.how say yes, GamesRadar says clearly no). So copy the code exactly as it stands here rather than typing it out. And if nothing at all happens after you submit, it is usually not a typo in the code but the supply that is used up. With BESTBRAINROTEVER one trick pays off: stand at the entrance of the Red Carpet tunnel first and only redeem there, otherwise other players grab the character before you.

A code is not a free character

This is the point where most children are disappointed. The code only makes sure that “La Vacca Saturno Saturnita” shows up in the game at all. You still need the 80 million in-game dollars, and whoever is faster buys the character before you do. The code is a chance, not a gift.

That is exactly what I kept seeing in my own rounds: the code goes through, everyone on the server cheers, and two minutes later somebody else has bought the character away. If you decide beforehand what you are saving for, the frustration is smaller.

Where new codes show up first

The quickest place to hear about it is the developer. SpyderSammy announces codes in the official Discord, although the dedicated codes channel was removed with Update 11, and since then they come irregularly. New codes are almost always tied to a big update, like the Summer Update in June. Occasionally he also hands them out live on YouTube. As a cross check, established gaming outlets like Dexerto, PCGamesN or Pocket Tactics work well, but always check the date of the last update at the top of the article.

The plush toys are a special case: the “Festive 67” plush contains an individual one time code, limited to 50,000 pieces. It is not published anywhere, it belongs to the product you bought.

Watch out on code websites

An invented code does no damage, it simply does not work. What is dangerous is the things around it on some sites: free Robux generators, login forms asking for your Roblox password, or strangers on Discord offering codes in exchange for account details. A short take for parents

Steal a Brainrot comes from SpyderSammy (DoBig Studios) and came out in May 2025. You collect silly meme characters, put them up on your own base where they keep producing in-game money, and steal them from each other. The game is huge: in October 2025 there were 25.4 million people in it at the same time for a while, a record on Roblox.

Honest on three points. The humour is harmless, but deliberately overstimulating and bluntly repetitive. The stealing at the core hits children hard, hundreds of videos of crying children are going around, and the Swiss news outlet 20 Minuten reports the account of a parent on Medium whose eight year old son screamed after a theft as if a pet had died. And there is pressure to buy: the strongest items, including protection against theft, are only available for Robux. On top of that comes a grey second hand market where rare characters are traded for real money, according to 20 Minuten sometimes for up to 6,000 Swiss francs. Roblox forbids this in its terms of use, and for children it is a classic way to get ripped off.
